This is the final iteration of my backpack. It builds upon some of the concepts of the previous iterations (discussed below) such as deployability/collapsibility and the scoring of cardboard to make it a bendable material. This bag is designed to be a sleek everyday bag that can hold a couple of essentials, computers, notebooks, etc. Should the user end up needing more room during the day it can be easily expanded to carry more things.
This is the second draft of my backpack, which is very closely based on the first draft. For this bag, we were only allowed to use a chosen material and no tape or glue. I chose velcro as my chosen material which allowed me to make this bag collapsible and adaptable to the users' needs.
This is the first draft of the bag which I did with a partner. We took inspiration for this bag from a wine barrel. It featured a large storage area with double doors that were held together by ties.
