Flight came at the same time as Contemplation, 2024. I was looking at the roof structure that sits over the WWII museum in New Orleans. The structure is called the Bollinger Canopy of Peace, and it is meant to unify the campus and honor the sacrifices made during the war. But it also reminds me of the bomber that they have hanging in the museum. Flight is inspired by the shape of this Canopy, and the museum.
